Standards and accountability

  • Licensing:
Our centres are licensed by the Department of Communities. The licenses are displayed in the foyer of the centres.
  • Accreditation:
Our centres participate in the National Childcare Accreditation Council process with a consistent highest quality outcome.
  • Policy:
Ensuring that clearly written policies are in place, and staff are provided with a full induction to the centre policies and procedures, assists the centre to provide high quality care and education at all times. Parents with children enrolled at the centre are welcome to view the policies. We appreciate parent comment and suggestion as policies are "living documents" which are altered to reflect latest and best information as well as the needs of the centre community and stakeholders which includes parents as a priority group.
  • Membership:
Building Futures maintains membership with professional organisations such as "Childcare Queensland" (link to website), Nutrition Australia and Early Childhood Australia amongst others. These membership provides timely information and professional development via literature and training events. Building Futures often supports staff financial and practically to access professional development opportunities.

"Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands."

~ Anne Frank
